Review the features of the Scorpion EXO EXO-R410 Full Face Motorcycle Helmet

Review the features of the Scorpion EXO EXO-R410 Full Face Motorcycle Helmet

I’m Matt from Chaparral Motorsports here with Scorpions EXO-410.
The EXO 410 shares a lot of the same qualities and features as the EXO-R2000, which is Scorpions premier race helmet that is an incredible value of its own. But in my opinion The 410 is absolutely the best bang for your buck when it comes to what you get for the price. Let me know if you agree or disagree with me. Subscribe to our YouTube channel and leave some comments. Alright, let’s run through the features starting with the shell. What we have here is a SNELL M2010, Dot approved LG polycarbonate outer shell that’s extremely light weight and it’s coming in well under $200 dollars. For being an “entry level” helmet, the ventilation is pretty impressive. Throughout the front of the helmet is a total of 6 intake vents. That’s going to draw in a lot of air. Then as all that hot air builds up, there’s 10 rear exhaust vents suck it all out. There’s a lot going on to make sure you have the best experience while you ride. That’s all fine and dandy but here’s where this helmet really starts to shine. Like the 2000, it has the Ellip-tec ratcheting system. What this does is pull the shield back closer to the gasket creating an air tight seal to the helmet.  You can even adjust the tension right here on the base plate. Here on the left is this lever. This allows you to either lock the shield or leave in a cracked position for even more air flow. The shield of course is Everclear no fog, anti-scratch with the option of the Pinlock max vision set up and you have the option to swop it out for a light or dark smoke as well. Another feature that’s great is the quiet neck roll. There’s nothing worse than a noisy helmet, it completely kills the ride especially if you use it for commuting.  This will close up the open space under your jaw and around your neck. So with the ellip-tec system, chin skirt and the neck roll, you’ll definitely enjoy the ride. On that neck roll you’ll notice these red tabs. These are emergency release tabs that pull right out just in case you go down and the emergency crew has to safely get you out of the helmet.  That really bumps up the value factor. One more feature before I tear this thing apart.
There’s notches cut in the cheek pad to give you a better fit with glasses or sunglasses. This is called the Kwikfit system.
Now, this is their Kwikwick II liner. It’s a very softer material that’s great at managing moisture within the helmet. It’s also antimicrobial, removable, and washable. Let me pull this liner out for you so you see all of the cutouts. So going back to the ventilation, these cutouts allow all of that air to flow over the head and through all the channels in the EPS.
